Ron Sarchian has appeared in over 35 episodes of General Hospital since his introduction to the show in 1999.  He has played everything from a hitman, who once jumped Chloe and Jax, to a muscled thug who tried to kidnap Sam’s baby, to a PCPD cop who recently got stabbed by McBain/Caleb, a PCPD detective moonlighting as a vampire.  He also spent some time as a recurring character playing Helena Cassadine’s main Henchman, aka Marsh.  The list of Ron’s various roles on GH goes on and on.

Over the years, Ron has worked with numerous contract players on General Hospital including; Constance Towers, Anthony Geary, Genie Francis, Tamara Braun, Tava Smiley, Ron Hale, Kin Shriner, Stephen Nichols, Kelly Monaco, Maurice Benard, Nancy Lee Grahn, Steve Burton, John J. York, Jason Thompson, Michael Easton, Ingo Rademacher and the list continues.  Ron even made an appearance on the spin-off series, Port Charles, in which he played a male lover.  Lucky guy !!!

Ron found his niche as an actor/stuntman on General Hospital not long after Gwen Hillier hired him as a background actor.  His background, as a professional stuntman, came into play because long time General Hospital stunt coordinator, Tim Davison, had hired Ron on a show he was running in Seattle, WA, before Ron moved to Los Angeles.  Soon, Ron was being hired to do Under-5 roles that also included a stunt, such as a fight or a fall etc.  This combination of skills has been incredibly helpful in pushing Ron’s career forward.  It should also be mentioned that Ron has studied with some great acting coaches, here in Los Angeles, including Dee Wallace-Stone, Deke Anderson and many others at The Beverly Hills Playhouse.

Currently, Ron can be seen on General Hospital playing officer Bud Carlson who gets stabbed by Detective John McBain, who also just happens to be an evil vampire named Caleb.   Officer Carlson ends up dying a gruesomely bloody death in the ER at General Hospital.  Hopefully, the roles will continue for this versatile actor/stuntman on this very popular daytime Soap Opera called General Hospital.  If there is one thing we know for sure about Ron Sarchian on General Hospital, it’s that when he shows up on set everyone knows there is plenty of action, right around the corner.
